Currently, it only supports Android OS; however, since the program is built on the cross-platform framework Qt using QML, it may be possible to port the application to other platforms in the future. The program serves as an alternative to Tox clients. <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/Antox\/Antox\">Antox<\/a><\/noindex>, <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/zoff99\/ToxAndroidRefImpl\">Trifa<\/a><\/noindex> and <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/InsightIM\/Tok-Android\">Tok<\/a><\/noindex>, almost all of which have been abandoned. The project's code <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/gitlab.com\/Monsterovich\/protox\/\">is distributed<\/a><\/noindex> under the GPLv3 license.<\/p>\n<p>The alpha version does not implement the following protocol features: file and avatar sending (the highest priority task for future versions), conference (group) support, and video and voice communication. To prevent the application from disconnecting from the network, you need to remove the app's activity limitation in Android settings. Known issues in the alpha version:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> The message input field when using line breaks does not have a scrollbar and has infinite height. This issue has not been resolved as of yet.\n<li class=\"l\"> Incomplete support for message formatting. In fact, there is no standard for formatting in the Tox protocol; however, similar to the desktop client qTox, it supports formatting: links, bold text, underline, strikethrough,
