A bit about everything that surrounds us in the browser space. All my acquaintances in the blogging sphere are wonderful admins and talented programmers. But many, like me, encounter minor issues in everyday life and often lack the time to figure out how to fix them.<\/span>
\nI will help you solve some problems. If you already know everything, then skip this post and don\u2019t scoff at me for dealing with this nonsense. Maybe someone, like me, would like to solve everything but doesn\u2019t know how. Then my post is for them.<\/span>
\nSo, I\u2019ve confused you, let's go step by step, or rather, by degree of annoyance:<\/span><\/p>\n

1. Some people profit from pop-ups Pop-up<\/strong>, pop-under<\/strong>, click-under<\/strong>, while others are going crazy from them. Yes, I won\u2019t deny, they bring in good money, but they are excruciatingly annoying!<\/span>
\nI don't want to visit that site anymore.<\/span>
\nFor example, my music site hosting<\/a> has cluttered with these banners, and now I get a pop-up with pornography for every little thing I do. I can't stand it. But, as they say, my husband may drink, but he's still mine, so hosting<\/a> I don't want to change it \u2013 I'm used to it.<\/span>
\nBut I can't handle the flood of banners any longer.<\/span>
\nHere\u2019s what I propose to hide the numerous ads in various banners<\/span><\/p>\n

Opera:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

1. Using the settings file urlfilter.ini<\/strong>, which can be downloaded freely. More precisely, here is its code; it\u2019s not complicated, you can write a similar one yourself but with your own limitations.<\/span>
\n2. Banner cutting. It turns out it not only removes the funny banners I mocked but also effectively trims Pop-up<\/strong>.<\/span>
\nThis article describes several ways to block them. The article isn\u2019t new, but it\u2019s the best thing I\u2019ve found to date.<\/span>
\n3. The same article describes blocking using scripts, but I haven\u2019t tried that; I just opted for a simple content ban.<\/span>
\n4. Using the Genon resource, it was discovered how easy and fast it is to block missed pop-unders, those that aren't destroyed by the regular settings (Tools<\/strong>\/Quick settings<\/strong>\/Block unsolicited windows<\/strong>) <\/span>
\n. The idea is to have a specific list of ad services that are added to Opera\u2019s restricted content database. <\/span>
\nOf course, the number of websites hidden under pop-unders is steadily increasing, and the suggested list is inevitably becoming outdated. However, to calm your nerves, you just need to specify the websites once and stop being bothered by pop-up offers of steamy sex or naked bottoms.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mozilla Firefox:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

1. Usually, a simple block like the one in point 4 works. Opera<\/strong>.<\/span>
\nYou can do this in the following way: Tools<\/strong>\/Additions<\/strong>\/click<\/strong> Adblock Plus<\/strong>\/Settings<\/strong>\/Add a filter<\/strong>\/Enter the website address<\/strong>.<\/span>
\nThe same list, the same way to add undesired websites. <\/span>
\n2. In addition, Mozilla Firefox<\/strong> includes special components that block pop-up windows. The developers have tried to make our lives easier, unlike the creators of Opera<\/strong>.<\/span>
\nThey invented an add-on or application that is installed on top of the browser \u2013 Adblock Plus 1.0.2.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Internet Explorer:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

According to statistics, a large number of users prefer the good old IE<\/strong>. As they say, Gates has brainwashed us, so many blindly believe in the infallibility of this browser.<\/span>
\nBy the way, it has the most 'leaky' protection. I mean not Gates, but the browser. All advertising programs, trojans, bars, and other nonsense break through to you via Internet Explorer. Think about it!<\/span>
\nHowever, IE<\/strong> it has strong protection against pop-up ads. Different antivirus mechanisms are embedded in it. So, as soon as a trojan tries to load, it will be caught immediately, and if not neutralized, at least reported.<\/span>
\nOld security settings kick in, in which the browser cuts out all ads.<\/span>
\nBy the way, it wouldn't hurt to hide ads from search engines if you decide to earn on this. Otherwise, you'll face an ugly place, a prison called a ban!<\/span>
\n2. The first point was about Pop-up<\/strong>, pop-under<\/strong>, click-under<\/strong> and the chaos they create.<\/span>
\nNow a few words on how to save your personal URLs, which are usually stored in browser directories. Yes, I know, it's the age of technology and many store bookmarks in online services. But besides that, there is a layer of people who still use the 'Add to favorites<\/strong>\u00bb.<\/span>
\nRegarding exporting bookmarks and emails to Mozilla Firefox<\/strong>, Sergei Lednev described in detail; if you're interested \u2013 read it.<\/span>
\nRegarding IE<\/strong> it's as simple as 1-2-3:<\/span><\/p>\n

\nAs for that Opera<\/strong> a couple of years ago, I had to rack my brain. The thing is, bookmarks are stored in a special file with the extension .adr<\/strong>, which we need to extract.<\/span><\/p>\n

The scheme is as follows:<\/span><\/p>\n

1. Bookmarks \/ Manage bookmarks<\/strong><\/span>
\n2. File \/ Export bookmarks from Opera<\/strong><\/span>
\n3. When reinstalling, we look for the .adr<\/strong>, replace it with ours, and enjoy \ud83d\ude42<\/span>
