However, this is one of the themes for my project, but more on that below. I don't think it makes sense to provide links since there are quite a few companies selling such desks.<\/p>\n<p>There are also several different models of desktop\/wall consoles. For example, <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/ergotron.com\">Ergotron<\/a><\/noindex> (in my opinion, the largest company producing such devices).<br \/>\n<noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" name=\"habracut\"><\/a><\/noindex><\/p>\n<h2>What dissatisfied me about the existing solutions?<\/h2>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3>Desks<\/h3>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Price:<\/b> Quite high <\/li>\n<li><b>Functionality:<\/b> Standard lift desks only have this one function. Due to their design, most desks cannot implement the tilt angle adjustment of the tabletop.\n<\/li>\n<li><b>Covering:<\/b> Ordinary particle board or natural wood, plastic. I really like the covering like a 'mouse pad' that is 3-4 mm thick, slightly soft. <\/li>\n<li><b>I already have a regular desk:<\/b> What to do if you already have a desk and don\u2019t want to throw it away.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3>Consoles<\/h3>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Placement:<\/b> Consoles come in two types: wall-mounted or desktop. A more versatile solution is needed that allows the console to be attached to both a desk and a wall.<\/li>\n<li><b>Monitor mount:<\/b> Usually, consoles use either a standard monitor stand or a rigid structure for 1-2 monitors. This solution does not allow for reliably fixing peripherals or adjusting the position of monitors with 'offset,' which is especially relevant for dual monitor systems. <\/li>\n<li><b>Drive design:<\/b> Almost everywhere gas pistons are used, which imposes significant constraints on the weight of the lifting part and requires adjusting the piston depending on the load, as well as necessitating the addition of a special locking mechanism. An electric drive with an actuator and memory for positions looks like a much more preferable option.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<h2>What has been achieved.<\/h2>\n<p>\n<i>In this section, there will be computer renders with descriptions, real device photos below.<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Creating a height-adjustable console for more convenient work at the computer\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/eae69623da3d35bfe3b1e9a414a3da80.jpeg\" style=\"display:block;margin: 0 auto;\" \/><br \/>\n<br \/>\nIn the pictures, several notes have been made:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li> The tabletop has a free mounting, which means it can be fixed off-center or pulled out. The covering is made of 3mm EVA material. <\/li>\n<li> A shelf for small items or a phone. <\/li>\n<li> The tabletop is designed with a tilt adjustment of 0-15 degrees. <\/li>\n<li> The base is used to secure the console to the table.<br \/>\n<i>NB: For me, this is the most controversial element of the design, as I'm not concerned about damaging the tabletop and I don't plan to remove the console, but just in case, there's an option for mounting using a base with clamps.<\/i> <\/li>\n<li> A bracket for mounting monitors, allows for the attachment of monitors of various sizes and\/or laptops.<\/li>\n<li> The attachment of the bracket to the console allows for height adjustment and lateral movement of the mount from the centerline. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>\nBelow is a small render monitors: 1-4<\/li>\n<li>Weight of monitors: up to 40 kg. <\/li>\n<li>Lift\/drop speed: ~20mm\/sec (15-25 depending on the load)<\/li>\n<li>Lift height: 300-400 mm<\/li>\n<li>Weight: 10-17 kg depending on configuration <\/li>\n<li>Tilt angle of the tabletop: 0-15 degrees <\/li>\n<li>Material of the tabletop: particle board or plywood with EVA coating (non-slip, soft, similar to a mouse
