Paramount Pictures has listened to the fans of the Sonic gaming universe and completely redesigned the cinematic version of the famous supersonic hedgehog. You can see his new look in the fresh trailer for the movie «Sonic the Hedgehog».<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s remember that earlier this year, the studio released the debut trailer<\/a><\/noindex> for the film, which drew a wave of criticism from fans. The hedgehog shown there was not only far from his game prototype but at times looked as if he came from a horror movie. Even one of the creators of the game series, Yuji Naka, ironically questioned whether the film was really about Sonic. Overall, the reaction was so intense that Paramount postponed the film's release date and decided to completely redraw the main character. The new premiere is set for February 14, 2020.<\/p>\n

In the new trailer, the character's appearance has become much closer to his classic look. Now Sonic has taken on a more cartoonish appearance: with big eyes, a shorter body, gloves on his hands, and without those frightening teeth (initially, they looked as if he had a human-sized dental implant in his mouth).<\/p>\n

«Sonic the Hedgehog» is a live-action adventure comedy. The nefarious doctor has a plan to take over the world \u2014 to do this, he needs to capture Sonic and harness his incredible power.<\/p>\n
