Proxmox, a company known for developing the distribution Proxmox Virtual Environment<\/a><\/noindex> for deploying virtual server infrastructures, introduced<\/a><\/noindex> the release of the distribution Proxmox Mail Gateway 6.1<\/a><\/noindex>. Proxmox Mail Gateway is presented as a ready-made solution for quickly creating a mail traffic control system and protecting the internal mail server. <\/p>\n

Installable ISO image is available<\/a><\/noindex> for free download. Distribution-specific components opened<\/a><\/noindex> under the AGPLv3 license. For installing updates, both a paid Enterprise repository and two free repositories<\/a><\/noindex>, which differ in the level of update stabilization. The system part of the distribution is based on the Debian 10 (Buster) package base and Linux kernel 5.3. Centralized remote configuration of a group of standard internet kiosks is possible with configuration loading over the network. To block malicious attachments, ClamAV and the Google Safe Browsing database are used, and for spam, a comprehensive set of measures based on SpamAssassin is offered, including support for sender verification, SPF, DNSBL, greylisting, Bayesian classification, and blocking using a spammer URI database.
\nFor legitimate correspondence, a flexible filter system allows setting processing rules based on domain, recipient\/sender, time of receipt, and content type. It is possible to manage all incoming and outgoing email traffic. All correspondence logs are analyzed and available for review through the web interface.
