Additionally, an update has been released. <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mozilla.org\/en-US\/firefox\/organizations\/all\/\">branch<\/a><\/noindex> with long-term support  <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mozilla.org\/en-US\/firefox\/68.3.0\/releasenotes\/\">68.3.0<\/a><\/noindex>. Page elements can be selected with the mouse (including multiple lines at once) and copied to the clipboard without using the context menu. The search bar has been preserved and extended with the ability to add new variables. Additionally, support for searching through the built-in mechanism, which is also used for searching on regular pages with step-by-step matching, has been implemented.\n<p><center><noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/pics_base\/0_1575387204.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Firefox 71 Release\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/bdac22120b93ba3d62c17b780d325624.jpeg\" style=\"display:block;margin: 0 auto;\" \/><\/a><\/noindex><\/center><\/p>\n<p>For each setting, a button has been added to allow inverting boolean variable values (true\/false) or editing string and numeric variables. The certificate viewing interface has been completely rewritten using JavaScript and standard web technologies, and has been aligned with the styling of Firefox Quantum. The proposed changes continue the development of the new Quantum Bar address bar implementation, which appeared in Firefox 68 and is characterized by a complete code rewrite replacing XUL\/XBL with the standard Web API. Initially, the design of the Quantum Bar completely mirrored the old address bar, and the changes were limited to internal restructuring. Work has now begun to enhance the appearance. Changes are currently disabled by default and require activation through the 'browser.urlbar.megabar' setting in about:config.\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Firefox 71 Release\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/92b913c08ba9b1e1e6f0144e50d2f8c9.jpeg\" style=\"display:block;margin: 0 auto;\" \/><\/center><\/p>\n<li class=\"l\"> <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/bugzilla.mozilla.org\/show_bug.cgi?id=158968#a542819215_159069\">Added<\/a><\/noindex> <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=51628\">disabling the tracker blocking<\/a><\/noindex> Launching the browser in kiosk mode, which is activated by specifying the option &#171;&#8212;kiosk&#187; in the command line, allows operation only in full-screen mode. This mode can be used to organize the work of various standalone terminals, advertising stands, demonstration panels, and other systems that are restricted to operating with a single site\/web application.\n<li class=\"l\"> In the built-in system add-on of the browser <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/lockwise.firefox.com\/\">Lockwise<\/a><\/noindex> (previously supplied as Lockbox), <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=50790\">offering<\/a><\/noindex> The &#171;about:logins&#187; interface for managing saved passwords now includes subdomain recognition during password form autofill. Firefox Monitor's warnings about account compromises have also been implemented for users with screen readers.\n<li class=\"l\"> Native MP3 decoder has been utilized in builds for Windows, Linux, and macOS.\n<li class=\"l\"> In the enhanced tracking protection mode, notifications about blocked code for cryptocurrency mining have been added. The panel displayed when clicking on the shield icon in the address bar shows a counter of blocked trackers.\n<li class=\"l\"> For Windows users, the ability to view videos in &#171;Picture-in-Picture&#187; mode is enabled by default, allowing videos to detach into a floating window that remains visible while navigating in the browser. To view in this mode, users need to click on the pop-up tooltip or right-click on the video and select &#171;Picture in Picture&#187; from the context menu (in YouTube, which has its own context menu handler, you need to double right-click or click while holding the Shift key). On systems other than Windows, support for this mode can be enabled in about:config using the &#171;media.videocontrols.picture-in-picture.enabled&#187; option.\n<li class=\"l\"> <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/hacks.mozilla.org\/2019\/11\/multiple-column-layout-and-column-span-in-firefox-71\/\">If the user refreshes the page in private browsing mode, Firefox will interpret this as a problem and suggest<\/a><\/noindex> support for nested multilayered page element layout (<noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/developer.mozilla.org\/en-US\/docs\/Web\/CSS\/CSS_Grid_Layout\">CSS Grid Level 2<\/a><\/noindex>), which significantly improves the flexibility of grid-aligned page layouts by providing the ability to define child items bound to parent cells (placing a separate grid inside a cell). Nested grids are defined through the value &#171;<noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/developer.mozilla.org\/en-US\/docs\/Web\/CSS\/CSS_Grid_Layout\/Subgrid\">subgrid<\/a><\/noindex>&#187; in the properties of &#171;grid-template-columns&#187; and &#171;grid-template-rows&#187;. Through this API, the web application can not only display a notification about the start of playback of a new track but also facilitate control from the notifications area or via the screensaver interface, for example, placing pause, seek, or next track buttons.\n<li class=\"l\"> In the API for extension developers <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/blog.mozilla.org\/addons\/2019\/11\/12\/extensions-in-firefox-71\/\">improved<\/a><\/noindex> Error handling during data loading. In pop-up windows opened by extensions via the call windows.create, the title of the extension is displayed instead of the extension URL (&#171;moz-extension:\/\/&#187;).\n<li class=\"l\"> WebGL has added support for the extension <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/developer.mozilla.org\/en-US\/docs\/Web\/API\/OVR_multiview2\">OVR_multiview2<\/a><\/noindex>, allowing rendering in multiple viewports with a single call (for example, useful for stereo output in WebXR);\n<li class=\"l\"> In the network activity inspection interface, the ability to analyze the stages of network request processing is implemented, showing the time taken for DNS resolution, establishing connection, sending data, and receiving a response separately.
