After 3 months of development introduced<\/a><\/noindex> the release of the platform for building decentralized social networks Hubzilla 4.6<\/a><\/noindex>. The project provides a communication server that can be integrated with web publishing systems, equipped with a transparent identification system and access control tools in decentralized Fediverse networks. The project's code is written in PHP and JavaScript and is distributed<\/a><\/noindex> is licensed under the MIT License.<\/p>\n

Hubzilla supports a unified authentication system to function as a social network, forums, discussion groups, Wiki, article publishing systems, and websites. It also includes a data storage solution with WebDAV support and event handling with CalDAV support.<\/p>\n

Federated interaction is carried out based on its own Zot protocol<\/a><\/noindex>, which implements the WebMTA concept for content delivery over the WWW in decentralized networks and provides a range of unique features, including the transparent end-to-end authentication 'Nomadic Identity' within the Zot network, as well as a cloning function for ensuring fully identical entry points and sets of user data across various nodes in the network. It supports interaction with other Fediverse networks using the ActivityPub, Diaspora, DFRN, and OStatus protocols. <\/p>\n

In this new release, in addition to the traditional improvements of existing features and functionalities, as well as fixes for issues discovered since the previous release, a new extension called 'Workflow' has been introduced. It serves as a tool for implementing interaction systems among participants. Its applications are expected to include use as a bug tracking system, supporting all the federative functions of the main platform.<\/p>\n
