The problem manifests as follows: the user enters a PIN code to access the device, after which the screen briefly goes dark, and upon turning back on, it remains locked. This issue was first reported a few months ago, but at that time it was not widespread, with only isolated cases being documented.<\/p>\n

Although the issue has not been resolved, the specialists were able to identify the cause. The problem lies in the unlocking error that occurs during the password verification process. After the user inputs the password, the system compares it to the stored data in memory, but is unable to access the decryption key, resulting in a \"null\" outcome that triggers the failure.<\/p>\n

Currently, there are reports of this problem affecting owners of various Pixel smartphone models, as well as the Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact and OnePlus 7 Pro. It is likely that the problem is more widespread, as different smartphones continue to receive platform updates to Android 10.<\/p>\n
