The project is being developed by the community after Mandriva S.A. handed over project management to the nonprofit organization 'OpenMandriva Association'. For download <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/sourceforge.net\/projects\/openmandriva\/files\/release\/4.1\/Beta\/\">it is recommended to<\/a><\/noindex> Live build size 2.7 GB (x86_64). <\/p>\n<p>In the new version, the Clang compiler used for building packages has been updated to LLVM 9.0. In addition to the standard Linux kernel compiled in GCC (the 'kernel-release' package), a version of the kernel compiled in Clang ('kernel-release-clang') has been added. Clang is already used as the default compiler in OpenMandriva, but until now, the kernel had to be built in GCC. Now, it is possible to use only Clang for building all components. New versions of Linux kernel 5.4, Glibc 2.30, Qt 5.14.0, KDE Frameworks 5.65, KDE Plasma 5.17.4, and KDE Applications 19.12 have been implemented. The number of available desktop environments for installation has been expanded.
