Blue Systems, the company funding the development of KWin and Kubuntu, released<\/a><\/noindex> has released the Netrunner 2020.01 distribution, which offers the KDE desktop. This version differs from the other distributions developed by the same company, Netrunner Rolling and Maui, as it uses a traditional approach to build formation and Debian's package base, without the rolling update model based on Arch\/Kubuntu. Netrunner differs from Kubuntu in its approach to user interface organization and its development towards seamless integration of Wine and GTK applications within the KDE environment. In the new version, the distribution's components are synchronized with Debian 10.3, and the KDE desktop components have been updated. A new theme called Indigo has been introduced, built on the Kvantum<\/a><\/noindex>theme engine, which uses SVG. The new theme adopts the window decoration style Breeze<\/a><\/noindex> with darker colors, enhancing contrast and simplifying the visual distinction between active and inactive windows. The cursor is colored red, making it easier to identify its position on the screen.
