PostgreSQL Anonymizer<\/strong> \u2014 an add-on for the PostgreSQL DBMS that allows you to hide or modify confidential data or information that constitutes a commercial secret. Data concealment occurs on the fly, using user lists for anonymization and configured rule templates.<\/p>\n

The tool can be used to provide access to the database for third parties (e.g., analytics services), automatically stripping out personal data from queries, such as phone numbers or credit card details, or using more complex methods\u2014replacing usernames, company names, and so on with fictitious information.<\/p>\n

With the provided tool utility pg_dump_anon
\n, it is possible to create an anonymized database dump for transmission to third parties.<\/p>\n
