The application's features include local storage of video conference settings, an integrated update delivery system, remote management tools, and a mode for pinning the application above other windows. Among the new features in version 2.0 is the ability to provide shared access to system sound playback. The client code is written in JavaScript using the Electron platform and <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/jitsi\/jitsi-meet-electron\/\">is distributed<\/a><\/noindex> is licensed under Apache 2.0. All data streams transmitted between the client and server are encrypted (assuming the server operates on its own infrastructure). Jitsi Meet is available both as a standalone application (including for Android and iOS) and as a library for website integration.<\/p>\n<li class=\"l\"> Release of the platform for organizing video conferences <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/openvidu.io\/\">OpenVidu 2.12.0<\/a><\/noindex>. The platform includes a server that can be run on any system with a real IP address and several client options in Java and JavaScript + Node.js for managing video calls. A REST API is provided for interaction with the backend. Video is transmitted using WebRTC.<br \/>\nThe project code is written in Java and <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/OpenVidu\/openvidu\">is distributed<\/a><\/noindex> under the Apache 2.0 license.<\/p>\n<p>Supported are one-on-one negotiation modes, conferences with a single speaker, and discussions where all participants can engage. Alongside the conference, participants are provided with a text chat. Features available include event recording, screen content streaming, and the application of audio and video filters. Mobile applications for Android and iOS, a desktop client, a web application, and components for integrating video conferencing functionality into third-party applications are provided. <\/p>\n<li class=\"l\"> <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/bigbluebutton\/bigbluebutton\/releases\">Release<\/a><\/noindex> <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bigbluebutton.org\/\">BigBlueButton 2.2.4<\/a><\/noindex>, an open platform for organizing web conferences, optimized for conducting training courses and online learning. It supports streaming video, audio, text chat, slides, and screen content to multiple participants. The speaker has the option to poll participants and monitor task completion on a multi-user virtual whiteboard. Rooms for group discussions can be created, where all participants can see each other and express their views. Reports and presentations can be recorded for subsequent video publication.
