Jonathan also suggests not ignoring the many small dysfunctions that many have grown accustomed to and learned to work around. While long-standing developers might overlook these shortcomings, for newcomers, such details can hold significant importance.<\/p>\n

It is proposed to include recommendations for maintainers concerning the use of Git. If the upstream project for which the package is being created uses Git, the Debian package maintainer is advised to use Git for the package.
