Debian Project Developers warned<\/a><\/noindex> about a significant failure in the infrastructure that supports the development and maintenance of the distribution. Due to issues in the storage system, several dozen project servers located at UBC have been taken offline. A preliminary list indicates 44 servers, but it is not complete. <\/p>\n

Restoration requires power cycling, but attempts to access the storage system have so far been unsuccessful<\/a><\/noindex> due to restrictions related to COVID19 (external access to the data center is closed, and support staff primarily works from home). It is expected that necessary actions can be performed through an employee at the earliest in 7 hours.<\/p>\n

Among the affected services are: salsa.debian.org (Git hosting), monitoring system, quality control components, i18n.debian.org, SSO (single sign on), bugs-master.debian.org, mail relay, primary web server for backports, main autobuild server, debdelta.debian.net, tracker.debian.org,
