Unfortunately, professional-level drawing applications on Android are either too expensive or offer only a few basic features for free. This does not apply to the open-source graphic editor Krita, the first open beta version of which is now available on Android and Chromebook.<\/p>\n

Krita is a free, open-source raster graphic editor, with the desktop version containing over 200 tools. The desktop version of Krita is available on Windows, Linux, and macOS, making it a decent alternative to paid products like Adobe Photoshop and Corel Painter. Now, Android tablet and Chromebook users can also utilize its full set of graphic editing tools.  <\/p>\n

According to available data, the beta version of the graphic editor for Android and Chrome OS is based on Krita version 4.2.9. The app features the same user interface as the desktop version, so it is not yet usable on smartphones. Unlike the Krita application distributed through Steam and the Windows Store, the Android and Chromebook version is completely free.<\/p>\n

The beta version of the application is already available for download from the official digital content store, Play Market. When using Krita on Android tablets and Chromebooks, it should be noted that the application is a beta version, so errors may occur during operation.<\/p>\n
