Remember that I2P is a multilayer anonymous distributed network that operates over the regular internet, actively employing end-to-end encryption, ensuring anonymity and isolation. Within the I2P network, users can anonymously create websites and blogs, send instant messages and emails, share files, and organize P2P networks. The basic I2P client is written in Java and can operate on a wide range of platforms, such as Windows, Linux, macOS, Solaris, etc. I2pd is an independent implementation of the I2P client in C++ and  <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/i2p\/i2p.i2p\">is distributed<\/a><\/noindex> is licensed under a modified BSD license.<\/p>\n<p>In release I2P 0.9.46:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Thanks to the addition of the Westwood+ congestion control algorithm, performance has significantly increased <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/geti2p.net\/en\/docs\/api\/streaming\">a library<\/a><\/noindex> with the implementation of data streams (TCP-like streams over I2P);\n<li class=\"l\"> The development of a more reliable and faster method of end-to-end encryption has been completed,  <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/geti2p.net\/spec\/proposals\/144-ecies-x25519-aead-ratchet.txt\">based on<\/a><\/noindex> the ECIES-X25519-AEAD-Ratchet combination instead of <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/i2p-projekt.i2p\/en\/docs\/how\/elgamal-aes\">ElGamal\/AES+SessionTag<\/a><\/noindex>. The ECIES-X25519-AEAD-Ratchet code is announced ready for testing;\n<li class=\"l\"> The design of the editing pages in the hidden services manager has been changed;\n<li class=\"l\"> The JRobin package implementing RRDTool in Java has been replaced with <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/rrd4j\/rrd4j\">RRD4J 3.5<\/a><\/noindex>;\n<li class=\"l\"> A vulnerability allowing a local user to escalate their privileges has been fixed. This issue only occurs on the Windows platform;\n<li class=\"l\"> I2P 0.9.46 is the latest release with support for Java 7. In the next version, package builds for Debian 7 \"Wheezy\", Debian 9 \"Stretch\", Ubuntu 12.04, and Ubuntu 14.04 will also be discontinued.\n<li class=\"l\"> In i2pd 2.32, support for the ECIES-X25519-AEAD-Ratchet protocol has been implemented, support for NTCP2 tunneling through SOCKS proxies has been ensured, UDP tunnels have added gzip-based compression support, and the
