It can<br \/>\nbe used instead of the tubeAmp plugin as a standalone JACK application.<\/p>\n<p>This is the first release, version 1.2, for unification with KPP, because it uses<br \/>\nthe same guitar amplifier emulator.<\/p>\n<p>Enables creating and editing profiles for tubeAmp.<br \/>\nAdditional features:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Profiler. Allows passing a test signal through any real amplifier,<br \/>\nchain, software or hardware processor, model of electrical circuit. Automatically<br \/>\nanalyzes the result and adjusts the profile parameters. Essentially, this process is similar to working with Kemper Amps.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Auto-equalizer. Allows adjusting the sound of a finished profile based on a reference recording. Similar to specmatch in guitarix or Amp Match in BIAS Amp.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Deconvolver. Allows you to obtain impulse responses (impulses in layman's terms) of guitar cabinets<br \/>\nor anything else by passing a test signal through them. The resulting impulse can be immediately sent<br \/>\nto the edited profile or saved in a wav file to be used in any convolver<br \/>\nor impulse player.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Convolver. Allows layering multiple impulses over each other. For example, you can add<br \/>\nreverb to a finished profile.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1>spiceAmp 1.0<\/h1>\n<p>A slow but accurate non-real-time guitar processor that uses<br \/>\nngspice as an emulator. Resource-intensive, so currently you can only<br \/>\nprocess guitar recordings in wav files, outputting the result in a wav file. This is especially useful in conjunction with<br \/>\nWith tubeAmp Designer \u2014 you can create *.tapf profiles using the SPICE model and then use them.<br \/>\nin real time in tubeAmp.<\/p>\n<p>To work, you need:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>The model of the amplifier\/pedal or the entire signal path in SPICE. The wonderful program Qucs-S is great for creating it, but you can use any other SPICE model editor,<br \/>\nor write the code manually.<br \/>\nCabinet impulse (optional, not needed for pedals).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>The release includes models of some classic tube amplifiers,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>models of almost all tubes used in guitar amplifiers (triodes and pentodes), for<br \/>\ncreating your own models, impulses from two cabinets.
