As part of the project Mobian<\/a><\/noindex> is an attempt to create a version of Debian GNU\/Linux for mobile devices. The builds use the standard package base of Debian, a set of GNOME applications, and a user interface shell. is being developed by Purism for the Librem 5 smartphone, utilizes a composite server<\/a><\/noindex>, developed by Purism for the Librem 5 smartphone. Applications are built with patches from the Purism project aimed at improving the interface's performance on small screens. In particular, the Purism project develops the library libhandy<\/a><\/noindex> with a set of widgets and objects for creating user interfaces. The library includes includes<\/a><\/noindex> 29 widgets that cover various standard interface elements such as lists, panels, editing blocks, buttons, tabs, search forms, dialog boxes, etc. The proposed widgets allow for the creation of universal interfaces that function seamlessly on both large screens of PCs and laptops as well as on small touch screens of smartphones. The application interface dynamically adapts depending on the screen size and available input devices.
