Developers of the free antivirus package ClamAV have resolved<\/a><\/noindex> the issue of providing a signature database based on the collection distributed by Google Safe Browsing<\/a><\/noindex>, containing information about sites involved in phishing and distributing malware. <\/p>\n

Previously, the signature database based on Safe Browsing was provided by ClamAV developers, but in November last year, its updates were halted due to restrictions imposed by Google. Specifically, the usage conditions for Safe Browsing were limited to non-commercial use, and for commercial purposes, a separate API was mandated. Google Web Risk<\/a><\/noindex>.
