\nAbout six months ago, we spontaneously decided to give away<\/a><\/noindex> outdated models of video recorders that had been sitting in our warehouse. And we were very surprised three times!<\/p>\n

First, by how quickly they were taken. We thought that even though the video recorders were new, they were morally outdated, so there wouldn't be many people interested in acquiring them.<\/p>\n

Second, we did include a link to the catalog with modern video recorders we are currently selling, but we didn't really expect any significant sales. We were wrong, selling 12 new video recorders.<\/p>\n

Third, doing something good just for the sake of it is fantastically pleasant, and even if we hadn't sold a single new video recorder, we wouldn't have been too disappointed. The kind words from those who won the video recorders still fill our hearts with warmth.<\/p>\n

All this led me to the idea of an experiment. What if we tried investing money not in advertising, but rather in good deeds? That is, those who cannot afford to buy video surveillance would have the opportunity to get it for free (in this case, to win), and those who can afford to buy might learn about us this way and perhaps place a real order.<\/p>\n

Naturally, it\u2019s better to do this consistently, rather than once every six months; therefore, we decided to do it every month as part of a rather unusual format that we named the 'infinite giveaway.'

What are we giving away?<\/h2>\n

\nEvery month, we will be giving away one complete video surveillance system, which includes:<\/p>\n

    \n Why this specific equipment?<\/b>
    \n When forming this kit for the giveaway, we based it on several important principles.<\/p>\n

    Universal video surveillance kit 'turnkey'<\/b>
    \n We included everything you might need for organizing video surveillance. This means you won\u2019t have to purchase anything additional. All four cameras are designed for outdoor use, but of course, you can also use them indoors.<\/p>\n

    Sufficiently easy for self-installation<\/b>
    \nMany participate in the giveaway because they want to save money, and installation and setup are also significant expenses. That's why the kit we've assembled is as straightforward as possible to set up.<\/p>\n

    For this, we chose analog format equipment HD-TVI<\/a><\/noindex>, since HD-TVI cameras<\/a><\/noindex> essentially do not require setup, and the setup of the HD-TVI recorder<\/a><\/noindex> is quite simple.<\/p>\n

    For this reason, we also chose equipment that supports power over coaxial cable<\/a><\/noindex>, which greatly simplifies installation, as it does not require the use of step-down power supplies.<\/p>\n

    The equipment must be modern<\/b>
    \nDuring our previous giveaway, we noticed that participants were interested in technology - apparently reflecting the specificity of the community. Therefore, we made sure the kit is sufficiently advanced in terms of the technologies used. One such progressive technology would be the aforementioned power over coaxial cable, which has only recently appeared in real equipment.<\/p>\n

    Well, the ability for remote video viewing and working with the video archive is more of a modern standard, complemented by a decent software suite.<\/p>\n

    \nAnd of course, for us it was important to keep the price quite reasonable, as at least for now, we cannot afford to give away top-tier equipment, which often costs as much as a wing of a Boeing.<\/p>\n

This means that by the end of 2020, we will have given away 7 kits, and in 2021, 12 kits. And then continuing indefinitely with 12 kits each year.<\/p>\n
