The company \"Doctor Web\" announced<\/a><\/noindex> has announced the release of the updated antivirus solution Dr.Web 12.0.0 to protect computers running macOS version 10.7 and above from common types of threats.<\/p>\n

Dr.Web for macOS detects and automatically blocks suspicious web pages and files, thereby preventing the download of malicious software to the computer, and warns the user about potentially dangerous sites. In addition, the antivirus includes anti-phishing technologies that protect against online fraud, particularly from fake web pages.<\/p>\n

The new version Dr.Web 12.0.0 for macOS features a completely redesigned user interface and has introduced a firewall. Additionally, the product implements control and protection against unauthorized access to the computer's webcam and microphone, added proxy server settings for virus database updates, and accelerated the launch of express scanning.
