The YaST module for the NTP client has been updated to configure using systemd-timer instead of cron. Sysctl settings have been moved to the file \/etc\/sysctl.d\/70-yast.conf.<\/p>\n<li class=\"l\"> The \"zypper download\" command has added the \"--repo\" option to specify the repository for downloading packages. The Snapper plugin for Zypper has been rewritten from Python to C.\n<li class=\"l\"> Support for new hardware has been implemented, including new platforms from Intel, Fujitsu A64FX, AMD EPYC, NVIDIA Tegra X1\/X2, and Raspberry Pi 4.\n<li class=\"l\"> For ARM64 systems with Vivante GPU (NXP Layerscape LS1028A\/LS1018A SoCs and NXP i.MX 8M), the etnaviv graphics driver has been added, and for SoCs with Mali-400e GPU (Xilinx Zynq UltraScale), the lima driver. For screen management chips Mali-DP500 used in NXP Layerscape LS1028A\/LS1018 SoCs, the mali-dp driver has been added.\n<li class=\"l\"> Experimental support for the Btrfs file system has been added to the U-Boot bootloader for Raspberry Pi boards (u-boot-rpiarm64 package), allowing direct access to Btrfs partitions from the bootloader and loading the kernel from them without needing to run GRUB from a FAT partition. Boot scripts for U-Boot have been reorganized.\n<li class=\"l\"> Experimental support for the CPU idle handler \"haltpoll\" has been added for x86_64 systems. This handler determines when the CPU can be transitioned into deep energy-saving modes; the deeper the mode, the greater the savings, but more time is required to exit the mode. This new handler is designed for use in virtualization systems and allows the virtual CPU (VCPU) used in the guest system to request additional time before transitioning the CPU into an idle state. Users of SUSE Linux Enterprise have access to the SUSE Package Hub repository, which provides additional applications and new versions supported by the openSUSE community.
