As part of the project Issuer<\/a><\/noindex> A bot has been developed for GitHub, addressing the issues of mandatory self-service for repository users. On GitHub, you can find repositories whose sole purpose is to coordinate people through the Issue system. In some of these, users leaving Issues are asked to fill out a form. Then a moderator visits, checks the form's completeness, and assigns tags according to the specifications in the form (only privileged users can assign tags if they are not specified in the template). The moderator does not arrive instantaneously. Therefore, for checking forms and performing operations is prepared<\/a><\/noindex> the GitHub action mentioned in the news. The bot is written in Python, but it still needs to be run through node.js, as GitHub only supports two types of actions \u2014 node.js and docker. For docker, it first loads the same container that runs node.js, and then loads another container into it, which takes time. Considering that the node.js container already has python3 and all other necessary components, it is more efficient to simply load the dependencies into it, especially since they are small. <\/p>\n
