Since the release of version <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=53475\">5.14<\/a><\/noindex> 27 bug reports were closed and 273 changes were made. <\/p>\n<p>The most significant changes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Initial implementation of sound libraries added <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Cross-platform_Audio_Creation_Tool\">XACT Engine<\/a><\/noindex> (Cross-platform Audio Creation Tool, xactengine3_*.dll), including interfaces<br \/>\n IXACT3Engine, IXACT3SoundBank, IXACT3Cue, IXACT3WaveBank, and IXACT3Wave;<\/p>\n<li class=\"l\"> Development of the mathematical library in MSVCRT has begun, implemented based on Musl;\n<li class=\"l\"> Work on restructuring console support has continued;\n<li class=\"l\"> Performance optimization of the Direct Input API has been conducted;\n<li class=\"l\"> Issues with exception handling on the x86-64 platform have been resolved;\n<li class=\"l\"> Bug reports related to the operation of games and applications have been closed:<br \/>\n splayer, Bully Scholarship Edition, DSA: Drakensang, Racedriver GRID,<br \/>\nPac-Man Museum, Captain Morgane, Gothic 1.0, Worms World Party Remastered, Call of Duty WWII, BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger, Kea Colorinbook, Grim Dawn, SAP GUI, FrostyModManager 1.0.5.9, Gigabyte \"EasyTune\", Red Dead Redemption 2.\n<\/ul>\n<p>Additionally, it can be noted <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/doitsujin\/dxvk\/releases\/tag\/v1.7.1\">release<\/a><\/noindex> layers <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/doitsujin\/dxvk\/\">DXVK 1.7.1<\/a><\/noindex>, providing implementation of DXGI (DirectX Graphics Infrastructure), Direct3D 9, 10, and 11, working through call translation to the Vulkan API. To use DXVK  <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/doitsujin\/dxvk\/wiki\/Driver-support\">requires<\/a><\/noindex> the presence of drivers supporting <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=48227\">Vulkan API 1.1<\/a><\/noindex>, such as Mesa RADV 19.2, NVIDIA 415.22, Intel ANV 19.0, and <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=47816\">AMDVLK<\/a><\/noindex>.<br \/>\nDXVK can be used to run 3D applications and games on Linux via Wine, serving as a higher-performance alternative to the built-in Wine implementations of Direct3D 9\/10\/11 that operate on top of OpenGL.<\/p>\n<p>The new version ensures the use of VK_EXT_4444_formats and VK_EXT_extended_dynamic_state extensions for supported drivers to eliminate potential color boundary issues with sample textures on Intel hardware and to correctly access vertex buffers. Minor performance optimizations have been made.
