On the eve of Knowledge Day, the Scientific Research Institute of the State Clinical Hospital held an SafeDC Data Center<\/a><\/noindex> Open House Day for clients, who had the opportunity to see firsthand what we will describe next.<\/p>\n

\nThe SafeDC Data Center is located in Moscow on Nauchny Proezd, on the underground floor of a business center at a depth of ten meters. The total area of the Data Center is 450 sq.m, with a capacity of 60 racks. <\/p>\n

Power supply is organized according to the 2N+1 scheme. Two power lines feed each equipment cabinet. Power supply for consumers can be provided from either of them. 'Intelligent' distribution units (PDUs) with monitoring functions are installed. The power supply infrastructure allows for up to 7 kW per rack.<\/p>\n

\nA container-type diesel generator ensures uninterrupted operation for up to 12 hours on a single tank. During the switch to it, power is provided by the APC InfraStruXure complex.<\/p>\n

\nThe machine hall is equipped with complexes consisting of cabinets, in-row air conditioners, as well as roofs and doors that ensure the isolation of hot corridors for the placement of high-performance equipment. All racks and insulation equipment are from a single vendor \u2013 APC\/Shneider Electric. <\/p>\n

\nTo protect the installed equipment from dust, supply and exhaust ventilation is used, equipped with an air filtration and preparation subsystem according to the specified parameters.<\/p>\n

In-row air conditioners from Liebert\/Vertiv maintain a temperature of +20\u00b0C \u00b11\u00b0C in the machine hall.<\/p>\n

The air conditioning systems are built according to the 2N scheme. The backup system automatically activates in the event of an emergency.<\/p>\n

\nThe Data Center has several security perimeters. Doors to the machine halls are controlled by an access control and management system, and surveillance cameras are installed in each rack row. In short, no unauthorized person can enter, and no action will go unnoticed.<\/p>\n

\nThe network infrastructure of the Data Center, in accordance with classical architecture, has three levels (core, aggregation, and access). The access level is implemented by installing switches in the Telecom Rack. Aggregation and core switches are reserved according to the 2N scheme. Juniper network equipment is used. <\/p>\n

The data center is connected to the MSK-IX traffic exchange point via 40 optical fibers from its own cable network. The fiber-optic communication lines follow different routing paths. The 'nine' has its own equipment. <\/p>\n

The company 'NIISK' is a local internet registrar, allowing it to provide clients with the required number of static IP addresses.<\/p>\n

\nThe servers and storage systems of the data center are from the leading manufacturer IBM\/Lenovo.
\nThe monitoring system for the data center parameters is built using the SCADA system from Indusoft. The depth of monitoring allows real-time tracking of all parameters of the engineering infrastructure at SafeDC.<\/p>\n

\nThe duty staff is informed about events through multiple channels \u2013 email, SMS, and Telegram. This enables prompt responses to any incidents.<\/p>\n

SafeDC has been certified for compliance with class 1 and level 1 security for information systems processing governmental information resources and personal data. <\/p>\n
