For the PinePhone PinePhone<\/a><\/noindex>, developed by the Pine64 community, has been prepared<\/a><\/noindex> a universal build<\/a><\/noindex>, which offers 13 Linux distributions at once. This build significantly simplifies familiarization with the existing editions of distributions and user interfaces for the PinePhone. To launch any distribution, it is enough to write a single the image<\/a><\/noindex> (5GiB<\/a><\/noindex>) to an SD card and select the desired distribution from the boot menu. <\/p>\n

For booting, a specially written bootloader p-boot<\/a><\/noindex>. The distributions are organized into Btrfs subvolumes, allowing the use of snapshots, deduplication of duplicate files in the distributions, and maintaining a shared free disk space and user data across all distributions. All distributions include Linux kernel 5.9, a driver for modem management, and the latest firmware Crust<\/a><\/noindex> with support for suspend mode (Suspend to RAM).
