Currently being developed <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/fedoraproject.org\/wiki\/Architectures\/ARM\/PinePhone\">the Fedora Mobility variant<\/a><\/noindex> is intended for installation on smartphones <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pine64.org\/pinephone\/\">PinePhone<\/a><\/noindex>, developed by the Pine64 community. Further editions of Fedora for other smartphones, such as Librem 5 and OnePlus 5\/5T, are expected once their support is included in the standard Linux kernel.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, a set of packages <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/copr.fedorainfracloud.org\/coprs\/njha\/mobile\/packages\/\">for mobile devices has already been added to the Fedora 33 (rawhide) repository, which includes a touch-screen driven user interface called Phosh. The shell<\/a><\/noindex> Phosh  <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/developer.puri.sm\/Librem5\/Software_Reference\/Environments\/Phosh.html\">is being developed by Purism for the Librem 5 smartphone, utilizes a composite server<\/a><\/noindex>  Phoc <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/source.puri.sm\/Librem5\/phoc\/\">, working on top of Wayland, and is based on GNOME technologies (GTK, GSettings, DBus). The build also notes the possibility of using the KDE Plasma Mobile environment, but packages for it have not yet been included in the Fedora repository.<\/a><\/noindex>Among the offered applications and components:<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 a messenger based on libpurple. <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/ofono.org\/\">oFono<\/a><\/noindex> \u2014 stack for telephony access.\n<li class=\"l\"> <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/source.puri.sm\/Librem5\/chatty\">chatty<\/a><\/noindex> \u2014 messenger based on libpurple.\n<li class=\"l\"> <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/gkdr\/carbons\">carbons<\/a><\/noindex> \u2014 XMPP plugin for libpurple.\n<li class=\"l\"> pidgin \u2014 a modified version of the instant messaging program pidgin, which uses the libpurple library for chatty.\n<li class=\"l\"> purple-mm-sms \u2014 a libpurple plugin for SMS, integrated with ModemManager.\n<li class=\"l\"> purple-matrix \u2014 a Matrix network plugin for libpurple.\n<li class=\"l\"> purple-telegram \u2014 a Telegram plugin for libpurple.\n<li class=\"l\"> <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/source.puri.sm\/Librem5\/calls\">calls<\/a><\/noindex> \u2014 interface for dialing and receiving calls.\n<li class=\"l\"> <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/source.puri.sm\/Librem5\/feedbackd\">feedbackd<\/a><\/noindex> \u2014 a background process integrated with Phosh for physical feedback (vibration, LED indicators, sound signals).\n<li class=\"l\"> rtl8723cs-firmware \u2014 firmware for the Bluetooth chip used in the PinePhone.\n<li class=\"l\"> <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/source.puri.sm\/Librem5\/squeekboard\">squeekboard<\/a><\/noindex> \u2014 on-screen keyboard with Wayland support.\n<li class=\"l\"> pinephone-helpers \u2014 scripts for modem initialization and audio stream switching during phone calls.\n<li class=\"l\"> gnome-terminal \u2014 terminal emulator.\n<li class=\"l\"> gnome-contacts \u2014 address book.\n<\/ul>\n<p>Note that the hardware of the PinePhone is designed for replaceable components \u2014 most modules are not soldered, but connected via detachable cables, allowing, for example, to replace the default mediocre camera with a higher-quality one. The device is built on a quad-core ARM Allwinner A64 SoC with a Mali 400 MP2 GPU, equipped with 2 or 3 GB of RAM, a 5.95-inch screen (1440\u00d7720 IPS), Micro SD (with boot support from the SD card), 16 or 32 GB eMMC (internal), a USB-C port with USB Host and combined video output for connecting a monitor, a 3.5 mm mini-jack, Wi-Fi 802.11 b\/g\/n, Bluetooth 4.0 (A2DP), GPS, GPS-A, GLONASS, two cameras (2 and 5Mpx), a removable 3000mAh battery, and hardware-disconnectable components with LTE\/GNSS, WiFi, microphone, and speakers.<\/p>\n<p><noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\"
