The release of the sane-backends package 1.0.32 has been prepared, which includes a set of drivers, the command-line utility scanimage, a daemon for organizing network scanning (saned), and libraries implementing the SANE API. The package supports 1652 scanner models, of which 737 have full support for all features, 766 have good support, 126 have acceptable support, and 23 have minimal support. Additionally, there is an incomplete implementation of drivers for 464 devices. Support for 478 scanners remains unimplemented. <\/p>\n
The new version includes the following enhancements: <\/p>\n

Support for new models of scanners and multifunction devices has been added, including: Avision AV186+ and AV188, Canon DR-C120 and DR-C130, Canon LiDE 600(F), Epson ET-2600, HP LaserJet FlowMFP M578 and MFP M630, HP DeskJet 2710, 2723 and 3760, Canon PIXMA TS-5351 and MG5765, Brother HL-L258DW and models released by Canon Pixma in 2020.\n
Support for the local_only parameter has been added to all backends, which disables the search for network devices when calling sane_get_devices().\n
Improvements and fixes have been made to the backends canon_dr, artec_eplus48u, avision, epson2, escl, fujitsu, pixma.\n
The saned background process has been added with the -p (\u2014port) option to change the listening network port. <\/ul>\n
