The release of the LeoCAD 21.03 automated design environment has been published, aimed at creating virtual models composed of blocks in the style of Lego builders. The program's code is written in C++ using the Qt framework and is distributed under the GPLv2 license. Ready builds have been generated for Linux (AppImage), macOS, and Windows. <\/p>\n

The program combines a simple interface, allowing beginners to quickly get familiar with the model creation process, with a rich set of features for advanced users, including tools for writing automation scripts and overlaying custom textures. LeoCAD is compatible with LDraw tools, can read and write projects in LDR and MPD formats, and also load blocks from the LDraw library, which includes around 10,000 elements for building. <\/p>\n
