The distribution offers a simple installer to set up a basic Arch Linux environment with the Xfce desktop by default, along with the option to install one of nine pre-configured desktop environments based on i3-wm, Openbox, Mate, Cinnamon, GNOME, BSPWM, Sway, Budgie, and KDE from the repository. Endeavour OS allows users to easily install Arch Linux with the required desktop as intended within its standard setup provided by the developers of the selected desktop, without extra pre-installed applications. The installation image size is 1.9 GB (x86_64, ARM).    <\/p>\n<p>In the new release:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Two new editions of the distribution are offered for the ARM platform with custom environments based on bspwm and Sway.    <center><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Release of the EndeavourOS distribution 2021.04.17\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/6dd158176cef939ce188b96ad72cdb70.png\" style=\"display:block;margin: 0 auto;\" \/><\/center>\n<li class=\"l\"> The installer has removed the option to install the Deepin desktop environment due to unresolved performance issues.\n<li class=\"l\"> Updated software versions, including Linux kernel 5.11.14-arch-1-1, Calamares installer 3.2.39.3-2, Firefox 87.0-2, Mesa 21.0.2-1, and nvidia-dkms 465.24.02-1.\n<li class=\"l\"> The Calamares installer has introduced an option to send installation logs to Pastebin to simplify troubleshooting installation failures.\n<li class=\"l\"> Resolved issues with using drivers for NVIDIA graphics cards.\n<li class=\"l\"> Extensions for Virtualbox have been added to the repository, necessary for working with USB devices from virtual environments.\n<li class=\"l\"> The Welcome application has included the Pacdiff tool for managing system changes and package configuration files. A Software news button has been added to display a summary of changes and bug fixes.
