Se propone para pruebas el candidato a la versi\u00f3n de la distribuci\u00f3n openSUSE Leap 15.3, formado sobre la base del conjunto de paquetes de la distribuci\u00f3n SUSE Linux Enterprise con algunas aplicaciones personalizadas del repositorio openSUSE Tumbleweed. Est\u00e1 disponible para descarga una imagen universal en DVD, de 4.3 GB (x86_64, aarch64, ppc64les, 390x). El lanzamiento de openSUSE Leap 15.3 est\u00e1 programado para el 2 de junio de 2021. <\/p>\n

A diferencia de las versiones anteriores de openSUSE Leap, la versi\u00f3n 15.3 se construye no a trav\u00e9s de la recompilaci\u00f3n de paquetes src de SUSE Linux Enterprise, sino con el uso de un conjunto binario de paquetes id\u00e9ntico al de SUSE Linux Enterprise 15 SP 3. Se espera que el uso de los mismos paquetes binarios en SUSE y openSUSE simplifique la migraci\u00f3n de una distribuci\u00f3n a otra, ahorre recursos en la construcci\u00f3n de paquetes, distribuci\u00f3n de actualizaciones y pruebas, unifique las diferencias en los archivos spec y permita alejarse de la diagnosis de diferentes compilaciones de paquetes al analizar mensajes de error. <\/p>\n

Entre los cambios funcionales en la nueva versi\u00f3n se destaca la actualizaci\u00f3n del escritorio Xfce 4.16 y del paquete de oficina LibreOffice 7.1.1. Se han realizado correcciones menores para el n\u00facleo Linux 5.3.18, systemd 246, Mesa 20.2.4, KDE Plasma 5.18 LTS, KDE Applications 20.04.2 y GNOME 3.34. Se ofrecen nuevos paquetes para los investigadores de aprendizaje autom\u00e1tico: TensorFlow Lite 2020.08.23, PyTorch 1.4.0, ONNX 1.6.0, Grafana 7.3.1. Las herramientas para contenedores aislados se han actualizado: Podman 2.1.1-4.28.1, CRI-O 1.17.3, containerd 1.3.9-5.29.3, kubeadm 1.18.4. Se presentan herramientas para desarrolladores como Go 1.15, Perl 5.26.1, PHP 7.4.6, Python 3.6.12, Ruby 2.5, Rust 1.43.1.
