Los desarrolladores del proyecto Android-x86, en el cual una comunidad independiente avanza en el desarrollo del puerto de la plataforma Android para arquitecturas x86, han publicado la sexta versi\u00f3n estable de la compilaci\u00f3n basada en la plataforma Android 8.1. Esta compilaci\u00f3n incluye correcciones y mejoras que optimizan el funcionamiento de Android en arquitectura x86. Se han preparado versiones Live universales de Android-x86 8.1-r6 para arquitecturas x86 de 32 bits (640 MB) y x86_64 (847 MB), adecuadas para su uso en laptops y tabletas convencionales. Tambi\u00e9n se ha preparado un paquete rpm para instalar el entorno Android en distribuciones de Linux. <\/p>\n

En la nueva versi\u00f3n se ha llevado a cabo la sincronizaci\u00f3n con la base de c\u00f3digo Android 8.1.0 Oreo MR1 (8.1.0_r81). Se han actualizado el n\u00facleo de Linux (4.19.195), Mesa (19.3.5) y los componentes del sistema de sonido ALSA (alsa-lib 1.2.5, alsa-utils 1.2.5). Se ha a\u00f1adido la herramienta alsa_alsamixer y archivos ucm (Use Case Manager) para la autot configuraci\u00f3n de los par\u00e1metros del subsistema de sonido de dispositivos m\u00f3viles.
