El proyecto Linux Terminal Service Manager (LTSM) ha preparado un conjunto de programas para organizar el acceso al escritorio basado en sesiones terminales (actualmente utilizando el protocolo VNC). Los avances del proyecto se distribuyen bajo la licencia GPLv3. <\/p>\n

El paquete incluye: LTSM_connector (manejador de VNC y RDP), LTSM_service (recibe comandos del LTSM_connector, inicia sesiones de login y de usuario basadas en Xvfb), LTSM_helper (interfaz gr\u00e1fica de acceso al sistema) y LTSM_sessions (interfaz gr\u00e1fica para gestionar sesiones). A diferencia del proyecto xrdp, LTSM se basa en principios de funcionamiento diferentes: se pone \u00e9nfasis en el uso m\u00e1ximo de componentes integrados, un c\u00f3digo fuente compacto (menos de un megabyte) y el uso del bus DBus.
