La organizaci\u00f3n OISF (Open Information Security Foundation) ha publicado versiones corregidas del sistema de detecci\u00f3n y prevenci\u00f3n de intrusiones en red Suricata 6.0.3 y 5.0.7, en las que se ha solucionado la vulnerabilidad CVE-2021-35063, que presenta un alto nivel de riesgo. El problema permite eludir cualquier an\u00e1lisis y verificaci\u00f3n de Suricata. <\/p>\n

La vulnerabilidad es causada por la desactivaci\u00f3n del an\u00e1lisis de flujo para paquetes con un valor ACK distinto de cero, pero con el bit ACK no establecido, lo que permit\u00eda iniciar una sesi\u00f3n TCP con un paquete SYN con un ACK distinto de cero para sacar toda la conexi\u00f3n TCP del \u00e1rea de verificaci\u00f3n en Suricata. Tales paquetes eran reconocidos en Suricata como err\u00f3neos y los manejadores devolv\u00edan un c\u00f3digo de error sin analizar el contenido.
