El fundador del fork «temporary-audacity» (ahora tenacity) anunci\u00f3 que renunciaba a sus derechos como mantenedor debido al acoso que sufri\u00f3 durante la votaci\u00f3n para elegir el nombre del proyecto. Los usuarios del subreddit \/g\/ en el foro 4chan presionaron para elegir el nombre Sneedacity, donde «sneed» es una referencia al meme «Sneed's Feed & Seed». El autor del fork no acept\u00f3 ese nombre, organiz\u00f3 una nueva votaci\u00f3n y aprob\u00f3 el nombre «tenacity». <\/p>\n

Los partidarios del nombre Sneedacity se indignaron por esta decisi\u00f3n, fundaron un nuevo fork e intentaron publicar el paquete en el repositorio AUR de Arch Linux, pero el repositorio AUR fue eliminado debido a una queja de que el nombre Sneedacity codifica un t\u00e9rmino m\u00e9dico «Special needs» y ofende a las personas con discapacidad intelectual.
