Se ha publicado una actualizaci\u00f3n de la distribuci\u00f3n Ubuntu 18.04.6 LTS. Esta versi\u00f3n incluye \u00fanicamente actualizaciones de paquetes acumuladas relacionadas con la soluci\u00f3n de vulnerabilidades y problemas que afectan la estabilidad. Las versiones del n\u00facleo y de los programas corresponden a la versi\u00f3n 18.04.5. <\/p>\n

El objetivo principal de esta nueva versi\u00f3n es actualizar las im\u00e1genes de instalaci\u00f3n para las arquitecturas amd64 y arm64. En la imagen de instalaci\u00f3n se han solucionado problemas relacionados con la retirada de claves durante la remediaci\u00f3n del segundo variante de la vulnerabilidad BootHole en el cargador GRUB2. As\u00ed, se ha reanudado la posibilidad de instalar Ubuntu 18.04 en sistemas con UEFI Secure Boot. <\/p>\n

Utilizar esta compilaci\u00f3n tiene sentido solo para nuevas instalaciones, pero para nuevos sistemas, la versi\u00f3n m\u00e1s relevante es Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS. Los sistemas instalados anteriormente pueden recibir todos los cambios presentes en Ubuntu 18.04.6 a trav\u00e9s del sistema de actualizaci\u00f3n est\u00e1ndar.
