Se ha publicado la versi\u00f3n Dear PyGui 1.0.0 (DPG), un kit de herramientas multiplataforma para el desarrollo de interfaces gr\u00e1ficas de usuario en Python. La caracter\u00edstica m\u00e1s importante del proyecto es el uso de multihilo y la delegaci\u00f3n de operaciones a la GPU para acelerar el renderizado. El objetivo clave de esta versi\u00f3n 1.0.0 es estabilizar la API. Los cambios que rompen la compatibilidad ahora se ofrecer\u00e1n en un m\u00f3dulo separado llamado «experimental». <\/p>\n

Para garantizar un alto rendimiento, la mayor parte del c\u00f3digo de DearPyGui est\u00e1 escrito en C++ utilizando la biblioteca Dear ImGui, desarrollada por los mismos autores, pero dise\u00f1ada para crear aplicaciones gr\u00e1ficas en C++ y que ofrece un modelo de operaci\u00f3n fundamentalmente diferente. Los c\u00f3digos fuente de Dear PyGui se distribuyen bajo la licencia MIT. Se ha declarado compatibilidad con las plataformas Linux, Windows 10 y macOS. <\/p>\n

El toolkit es adecuado tanto para la r\u00e1pida creaci\u00f3n de interfaces simples como para el desarrollo de interfaces gr\u00e1ficas especializadas complejas para juegos, aplicaciones cient\u00edficas e ingenier\u00edas, donde se requiere alta capacidad de respuesta e interactividad. Se ofrece a los desarrolladores de aplicaciones una API sencilla y un conjunto de elementos tradicionales listos para usar, como botones, deslizadores, conmutadores, men\u00fas, formularios de texto, visualizaci\u00f3n de im\u00e1genes y varios m\u00e9todos de disposici\u00f3n de elementos en la ventana. Se destaca entre sus capacidades avanzadas el soporte para la creaci\u00f3n de gr\u00e1ficos, diagramas y tablas.

Adem\u00e1s, se dispone de un conjunto de visores de recursos, un editor de enlaces de nodos, un sistema de inspecci\u00f3n de temas y elementos para personalizar el renderizado, adecuados para la creaci\u00f3n de juegos en 2D. Para simplificar el desarrollo, se incluyen varias utilidades, entre las que se encuentran un depurador, un editor de c\u00f3digo, un visor de documentaci\u00f3n y un visor de registros. <\/p>\n

Dear PyGui implementa un modo de funcionamiento abstracto t\u00edpico para bibliotecas GUI (modo Retenido), pero se ha construido sobre la biblioteca Dear ImGui, que opera en modo IMGUI (GUI de modo inmediato). El modo Retenido implica que la biblioteca asume la tarea de crear la escena, mientras que en el modo Inmediato, el modelo de visualizaci\u00f3n se procesa del lado del cliente, utilizando la biblioteca gr\u00e1fica solo para la salida final, es decir, la aplicaci\u00f3n emite comandos de renderizado para todos los elementos de la interfaz para formar un nuevo cuadro listo. <\/p>\n

En DearPyGui no se utilizan los widgets nativos proporcionados por el sistema, sino que se dibujan widgets personalizados mediante la interacci\u00f3n con las API gr\u00e1ficas OpenGL, OpenGL ES, Metal y DirectX 11, dependiendo del sistema operativo actual. Se ofrecen m\u00e1s de 70 widgets listos para usar.
