Se ha anunciado el cese del desarrollo de la distribuci\u00f3n personalizada Trident, que inicialmente se desarroll\u00f3 sobre la base de FreeBSD y TrueOS (PC-BSD), pero que hace dos a\u00f1os se traslad\u00f3 a la base de paquetes de Void Linux. La distribuci\u00f3n utilizaba el sistema de archivos ZFS y el sistema de inicializaci\u00f3n OpenRC. La decisi\u00f3n de su finalizaci\u00f3n fue tomada por los desarrolladores clave, cuyas circunstancias de vida han cambiado recientemente, al igual que sus preferencias personales.
