Se ha identificado un problema cr\u00edtico de seguridad (CVE-2021-34795) en los switches Cisco Catalyst de la serie PON CGP-ONT-* (Red \u00d3ptica Pasiva), que permite conectarse al switch con privilegios de administrador al activar el protocolo telnet, utilizando una cuenta de depuraci\u00f3n conocida que el fabricante dej\u00f3 en el firmware. Este problema solo se manifiesta al habilitar en la configuraci\u00f3n la opci\u00f3n de acceso a trav\u00e9s de telnet, que est\u00e1 desactivada por defecto. <\/p>\n

Adem\u00e1s de la existencia de una cuenta con una contrase\u00f1a conocida, tambi\u00e9n se han identificado dos vulnerabilidades (CVE-2021-40112, CVE-2021-40113) en la interfaz web de los modelos de switch considerados, que permiten a un atacante no autenticado, que no conoce los par\u00e1metros de inicio de sesi\u00f3n, ejecutar sus comandos con privilegios de root y realizar cambios en la configuraci\u00f3n. Por defecto, el acceso a la interfaz web solo est\u00e1 permitido desde la red local, a menos que este comportamiento sea anulado en la configuraci\u00f3n. <\/p>\n
