Para la implementaci\u00f3n en Fedora Linux 37, se planea clasificar la arquitectura ARMv7, tambi\u00e9n conocida como ARM32 o armhfp, como obsoleta. Todos los esfuerzos de desarrollo para sistemas ARM se centrar\u00e1n en la arquitectura ARM64 (Aarch64). Este cambio a\u00fan no ha sido discutido por el comit\u00e9 FESCo (Fedora Engineering Steering Committee), que se encarga de la parte t\u00e9cnica del desarrollo de la distribuci\u00f3n Fedora. En caso de ser aprobada, la \u00faltima versi\u00f3n que soportar\u00e1 sistemas ARM de 32 bits ser\u00e1 Fedora 36, cuyas actualizaciones se generar\u00e1n hasta junio de 2023. <\/p>\n

Entre las razones para finalizar el soporte de ARMv7 se menciona el cese general del desarrollo de la distribuci\u00f3n para sistemas de 32 bits, ya que algunas de las nuevas funcionalidades de Fedora, relacionadas con la mejora de la seguridad y el aumento del rendimiento, solo est\u00e1n disponibles para arquitecturas de 64 bits. Hasta ahora, ARMv7 hab\u00eda sido la \u00faltima arquitectura de 32 bits completamente soportada en Fedora (la formaci\u00f3n de repositorios para la arquitectura i686 se interrumpi\u00f3 en 2019, quedando solo repositorios multi-lib para entornos x86_64).
