El proyecto OpenBSD ha publicado una versi\u00f3n corregida de la edici\u00f3n portable del paquete LibreSSL 3.4.2, en el que se desarrolla un fork de OpenSSL, dirigido a proporcionar un mayor nivel de seguridad. En la nueva versi\u00f3n se ha corregido una vulnerabilidad en el c\u00f3digo de verificaci\u00f3n de certificados X.509, que provocaba la ignorancia de un error al procesar una cadena de certificados no verificada. Este problema podr\u00eda permitir eludir la autenticaci\u00f3n al verificar certificados especialmente dise\u00f1ados con una cadena de confianza incorrecta.
