Se han publicado detalles sobre un m\u00e9todo de phishing que permite a un usuario tener la ilusi\u00f3n de estar interactuando con un formulario de autenticaci\u00f3n leg\u00edtimo, recreando la interfaz del navegador en un \u00e1rea mostrada sobre la ventana actual mediante un iframe. Si anteriormente los delincuentes trataban de enga\u00f1ar a los usuarios registrando dominios similares o manipulando par\u00e1metros en la URL, con el m\u00e9todo propuesto se recrean en la parte superior de la ventana emergente elementos que imitan la interfaz del navegador, incluyendo el t\u00edtulo con botones de control de la ventana y la barra de direcciones, que incluye una direcci\u00f3n que no coincide con la direcci\u00f3n real del contenido.

Teniendo en cuenta que muchos sitios utilizan formularios de autenticaci\u00f3n a trav\u00e9s de servicios externos que soportan el protocolo OAuth, y que estos formularios se muestran en una ventana separada, la generaci\u00f3n de una interfaz de navegador falsa podr\u00eda enga\u00f1ar incluso a un usuario experimentado y atento. El investigador que llam\u00f3 la atenci\u00f3n sobre el problema ha publicado un conjunto listo de maquetas que simulan la interfaz de Chrome en temas oscuros y claros para macOS y Windows. La ventana emergente se forma mediante un iframe que se muestra sobre el contenido.
