Despu\u00e9s de m\u00e1s de dos a\u00f1os desde la \u00faltima actualizaci\u00f3n, se ha preparado la versi\u00f3n del distribuidor LXLE Focal, dise\u00f1ado para su uso en sistemas obsoletos. El distribuidor LXLE se basa en trabajos de Ubuntu MinimalCD y busca ofrecer una soluci\u00f3n liviana que combine el soporte para hardware antiguo con un entorno de usuario moderno. La necesidad de crear una bifurcaci\u00f3n separada se debe al deseo de incluir controladores adicionales para sistemas antiguos y redise\u00f1ar el entorno de usuario. El tama\u00f1o de la imagen de arranque es de 1.8 GB. <\/p>\n

Para la navegaci\u00f3n en la web, el distribuidor ofrece el navegador LibreWolf (una reconstrucci\u00f3n de Firefox con modificaciones destinadas a mejorar la seguridad y la privacidad).<\/a>Para la mensajer\u00eda, se incluye uTox, y para el correo electr\u00f3nico, Claws Mail. Para instalar actualizaciones, se utiliza el propio gestor de actualizaciones uCareSystem, que se ejecuta mediante cron para eliminar procesos en segundo plano innecesarios. Se incluyen: el centro de instalaci\u00f3n de aplicaciones App Grid, el sintetizador de sonido Blanket, el configurador de Bluetooth, el cliente de correo Claws Mail, el lector de RSS Liferea, la herramienta de respaldo GAdmin-Rsync, el programa para configurar el acceso compartido a archivos GAdmin-Samba, el planificador Osmo y la interfaz para optimizar el consumo de energ\u00eda TLP GUI.
