En el repositorio donde se desarrolla la versi\u00f3n de Ubuntu 22.10, se ha cambiado el editor de texto propuesto por defecto. En lugar de GEdit, se ofrece a los usuarios un nuevo editor de texto \u00abGNOME Text Editor\u00bb, implementado utilizando GTK 4 y la biblioteca libadwaita, que proporciona widgets y objetos listos para la creaci\u00f3n de aplicaciones que cumplen con las nuevas recomendaciones de GNOME HIG (Human Interface Guidelines) y que pueden adaptarse de manera flexible a pantallas de cualquier tama\u00f1o.
