Konstantin Komarov, fundador y director de Paragon Software, propuso la inclusi\u00f3n en el n\u00facleo de Linux 5.19 de la primera actualizaci\u00f3n correctiva del controlador ntfs3. Desde su incorporaci\u00f3n en el n\u00facleo 5.15 en octubre del a\u00f1o pasado, el controlador no ha sido actualizado y se ha perdido la comunicaci\u00f3n con los desarrolladores, lo que ha llevado a discutir la necesidad de clasificar el c\u00f3digo NTFS3 como abandonado (\u00bborphaned\u00ab) y posteriormente eliminar el controlador del n\u00facleo. <\/p>\n

Ahora los desarrolladores han reanudado la publicaci\u00f3n de cambios y han agrupado un conjunto acumulado de correcciones. Previamente, los parches se hab\u00edan agregado y probado en la rama linux-next. En los parches propuestos se han corregido errores que provocaban fugas de memoria y cierres inesperados, se han resuelto problemas con la ejecuci\u00f3n de xfstests, se ha limpiado el c\u00f3digo no utilizado y se han corregido errores tipogr\u00e1ficos.
