En el desarrollo del controlador Vulkan han participado Karol Herbst, desarrollador de Nouveau en Red Hat, David Airlie, mantenedor del subsistema DRM en Red Hat, y Jason Ekstrand, desarrollador activo de Mesa en Collabora.
