La compa\u00f1\u00eda Mozilla anunci\u00f3 la inclusi\u00f3n por defecto para todos los usuarios del modo de Protecci\u00f3n Total de Cookies (Total Cookie Protection). Anteriormente, este modo solo se activaba al abrir sitios en modo de navegaci\u00f3n privada y al seleccionar el modo estricto de bloqueo de contenido no deseado. <\/p>\n

El m\u00e9todo de protecci\u00f3n propuesto implica la utilizaci\u00f3n de un almacenamiento aislado separado para cookies de cada sitio, lo que impide el uso de cookies para rastrear el movimiento entre sitios, ya que todas las cookies emitidas por bloques externos cargados en el sitio (iframe, js, etc.) se vinculan al sitio del cual se cargaron esos bloques y no se transfieren al acceder a esos bloques desde otros sitios. <\/p>\n

Como excepci\u00f3n, se ha permitido la transmisi\u00f3n intersitios de cookies para servicios no relacionados con el rastreo de usuarios, por ejemplo, aquellos utilizados para la autenticaci\u00f3n \u00fanica.
