Ha fallecido Peter Eckersley, uno de los cofundadores de Let\u2019s Encrypt, una autoridad certificadora sin fines de lucro controlada por la comunidad que proporciona certificados de forma gratuita a cualquiera que lo desee. Peter form\u00f3 parte de la junta directiva de la organizaci\u00f3n sin fines de lucro ISRG (Internet Security Research Group), que es la fundadora del proyecto Let\u2019s Encrypt, y trabaj\u00f3 durante mucho tiempo en la organizaci\u00f3n de derechos digitales EFF (Electronic Frontier Foundation).
