Se present\u00f3 una actualizaci\u00f3n del proyecto Yuzu con la implementaci\u00f3n de un emulador de la consola Nintendo Switch, capaz de ejecutar juegos comerciales dise\u00f1ados para esta plataforma. El proyecto est\u00e1 basado en los desarrolladores de Citra, el emulador de la consola Nintendo 3DS. El desarrollo se lleva a cabo mediante ingenier\u00eda inversa del hardware y el firmware de Nintendo Switch. El c\u00f3digo de Yuzu est\u00e1 escrito en C++ y se distribuye bajo la licencia GPLv3. Se han preparado versiones finales para Linux (flatpak) y Windows. <\/p>\n

De los 2699 juegos probados en el emulador, 644 tienen un nivel de soporte perfecto (todo funciona como se esperaba), 813 tienen un soporte bueno (pueden presentarse algunos problemas menores con el sonido y los gr\u00e1ficos), 515 tienen un soporte aceptable (en general se puede jugar, pero aparecen problemas m\u00e1s notables con el sonido o los gr\u00e1ficos), 327 tienen un soporte deficiente (se puede iniciar, pero los problemas existentes impiden completar el juego), 311 se detiene en la pantalla de inicio\/menu, y 189 se cierra de forma abrupta inmediatamente despu\u00e9s de iniciar. <\/p>\n

Yuzu emula solo el hardware, tambi\u00e9n se requiere un volcado del firmware original de Nintendo Switch, un volcado de juegos de cartuchos y claves para descifrar archivos de juegos, que se pueden obtener iniciando la consola en modo RCM con el cargador externo Hekate. Para una emulaci\u00f3n completa de la consola se requiere un CPU que soporte instrucciones SIMD FMA y tenga 6 o m\u00e1s n\u00facleos\/hilos (los requeridos son CPUs Intel Core i5-4430 y AMD Ryzen 3 1200, mientras que los recomendados son Intel Core i5-10400 o AMD Ryzen 5 3600), 8 GB de RAM y una tarjeta gr\u00e1fica que soporte el API de gr\u00e1ficos OpenGL 4.6 o Vulkan 1.1 (como m\u00ednimo una NVIDIA GeForce GT 1030 de 2GB, AMD Radeon R7 240 de 2GB, Intel HD 5300 de 8GB, AMD Radeon R5).
