El proyecto Fedora ha anunciado la formaci\u00f3n de versiones experimentales de Fedora 37, equipadas con un instalador Anaconda redise\u00f1ado, que en lugar de la interfaz basada en la biblioteca GTK, ofrece una interfaz web. La nueva interfaz permite la interacci\u00f3n a trav\u00e9s de un navegador web, lo que aumenta significativamente la comodidad de la gesti\u00f3n remota de la instalaci\u00f3n, algo que no se puede comparar con la antigua soluci\u00f3n basada en el protocolo VNC. El tama\u00f1o de la imagen ISO es de 2,3 GB (x86_64). <\/p>\n

El desarrollo del nuevo instalador a\u00fan no ha finalizado y no todas las funcionalidades planeadas se han implementado. Entre las funcionalidades ya disponibles se mencionan la selecci\u00f3n de idioma, la interfaz para elegir el disco de instalaci\u00f3n, el particionado autom\u00e1tico del disco, la instalaci\u00f3n autom\u00e1tica de Fedora 37 Workstation en la partici\u00f3n creada, una pantalla de resumen de los par\u00e1metros de instalaci\u00f3n seleccionados, una pantalla con el indicador de progreso de instalaci\u00f3n y ayuda integrada. <\/p>\n

La interfaz web se basa en componentes del proyecto Cockpit, que ya se utiliza en los productos de Red Hat para la configuraci\u00f3n y gestionar servidores.<\/a>. Cockpit se ha seleccionado como una soluci\u00f3n bien establecida, para la cual existe un backend para interactuar con el instalador (Anaconda DBus). El uso de Cockpit tambi\u00e9n ha permitido lograr uniformidad y unificar varios componentes de gesti\u00f3n del sistema. En la reconfiguraci\u00f3n de la interfaz, se han utilizado los resultados del trabajo previo para aumentar la modularidad del instalador \u2014 la parte principal de Anaconda se ha transformado en m\u00f3dulos que interact\u00faan a trav\u00e9s de la API DBus, y la nueva interfaz utiliza la API existente sin reestructuraci\u00f3n interna.
